9:15 – 10:00 am, Tuesday, 23rd Oct. 2012

Teaching objectives

1.       Students can describe the weather, changes and activities   in different seasons.

2.       Students can use a survey to collect information.

Main structure

1.  What’s your favorite season?

2.  It is + adj. to do something

Main vocabulary

 

blow, gently, exciting, shine, brightly, leaf, spend, relative, interesting, start to, take a trip, fall from, have a picnic,

the Spring Festival

Learning strategies

 

 

 

 

1.       Listening to the key words.

2.       Speaking according to some pictures

3.       Skimming and scanning the whole passage

4.       Group cooperation to make a survey

5.       Building up confidence in presentation

6.       Summarize and review the main structure and vocabulary

Teaching aids

Flash, pictures, PPT, worksheets

Homework Assignments
